The Katie, OK tornado was the strongest of 12 tornadoes throughout Oklahoma on May 9, 2016. These storms were ignited along and ahead of a dry line. Significantly strong wind shear and a very unstable atmosphere from a stout low pressure system formed storms like this one. #oklahoma #wynnewood #katie #tornado #weather #stormchasing #stormPost udostępniony przez tornadotrackers (@tornadotrackers) Kwi 16, 2018 o 11:06 PDT

One of the more contrasted views we had of the Wynnewood, OK tornado as we approached it from the north. Lots of spring left, but this will probably be a favorite image of the year for me. This was looking up into a the west side of a supercell yesterday west of Redington, NE. And to give you an idea of how straight up it was, I was around 11-12mm with this shot! I got enough frames for a short little time-lapse which should be fun. Such motion, such incredible structure for being on the opposite side of where you usually see it. Fun day! #ig_stormclouds #earthpix #discoverearth #igworldclub #igworldclub #storms #supercells #earthfocus #canon #manfrotto #stormhour #tornado #storms #stormhour #corepunch #wunderground #supercellsPost udostępniony przez Mike Olbinski (@mikeolbinski) Maj 11, 2018 o 8:00 PDT

After seeing a brief tornado and getting blasted by 70+ mph winds near a separate rain wrapped circulation, we finished off yesterday with this incredible tornado warned hp supercell south of Alva, OK. As it blew by, straight line winds were strong enough to topple a large metal dumpster that was 30 ft away from us. We could literally post a months worth of photos from this one storm alone. The structure was mind blowing. #tornado #storm #stormchasing #natgeo #nature #naturephotography #thunderstorm #sky #skyporn #clouds #supercell #hail #okwx #highriskPost udostępniony przez tornadotrackers (@tornadotrackers) Maj 19, 2017 o 1:54 PDT
